Tonight, in the lead up to International Workers Memorial Day, we look at the dangers faced by workers and the toll of workplace fatalities. Managing Partner, Tony Carbone, and John Karantzis, Practice Group Leader Workers Compensation are joined by Damian and Rae Panlock, parents of Brodie Panlock who tragically took her life following relentless workplace bullying. The Panlocks campaigned strongly for new and tougher laws, resulting in Victoria’s anti-bullying legislation, known as Brodie’s Law, which made serious bullying a crime punishable by up to 10 years in jail. Their work through Brodie’s Law Foundation is dedicated to helping workplaces and communities grow with the understanding of keeping everyone safe.
